When you think of someone who is wise, you probably think of someone older who has been through the trials and miles of life. Experiences will make you wise to an extent, but they won’t teach you everything.
Living as a Christ follower with the Spirit of God on the inside of you, He leads and guides you on your journey. There are so many things you will not understand in this life and that’s okay.
Your need to understand the whys and hows should not be greater than your willingness to live by faith when you don’t have all the answers. His Spirit will help you to understand.
When you read your Bible, some things can be hard to comprehend just reading surface deep. It is His Spirit that gives you His eyes to see and His ears to hear what He wants you to know.
So yes, the saying is true that you become “older and wiser,” but wisdom can be given to you through His understanding no matter your age.
