You hear so many people say so many things on any given day. Sometimes they are talking to you and sometimes things are just going on around you.
It’s easy for people to say they never hear God speak. Even if this is true, He is still speaking every day.
God speaks to us through the world He created. You can know His love, protection, and creative side through the wonder and beauty of the world around you.
He can speak through others to make an impact in your life and He can use you to do the same. The Bible was written by many as God as He spoke to them the words to write through His Spirit.
Sometimes God speaking to you can be a feeling—discernment. His Spirit can help guide you to right and wrong. When you don’t feel like a situation is going to end well so you don’t engage in it, that’s using spiritual discernment.
God communicates with some through visions and dreams. This aren’t dreams and visions in a supernatural sense, but in a spiritual way.
Lastly, some do audibly hear a voice say something to them. I know some people are skeptical about this, but I assure you it happens.
Even with all these different ways He can communicate with you, very few perceive when He is speaking. Why? To perceive is to be aware of and to understand.
One cannot understand what they do not fully believe in. Give God your whole heart, your whole life, and your whole being. Then listen to what He will say!
