How are you feeling about yourself today? It’s a valid question and at the heart of it lies where are you gather your self-worth.
If you are a people pleaser or just someone whose love language is words of affirmation, I caution you not to put your self worth in the hands of others.
Sure what people say to us matters and sometimes it can lift us up or put us down, but your identity is linked to who you are in Christ and how you spend your time.
If you spend more time walking with Christ then you do emotionally and psychologically walking in the world, you won’t believe the lies and negativity of others.
When you keep Him at the head of your life to be your guide amazing things can happen. When your joint with Jesus this life becomes more bearable and joyful—not because of what He does for you but because of who He is in you.
God knows you and He made you. Before you were born He had already set you apart to do great things. The things this world values has a little worth.
God values you and knows you have great worth. Trust in Him to define who you are not the world that is ever-changing. He never changes.
Who does God say you are? Is His the voice you have been believing?
