Believing is seeing—or so some perceive this to be true. We are so dead set on finding evidence and proof that we are reluctant to believe things because we can’t see them.
There isn’t a problem with this except it leaves no room for faith. You see, faith is the evidence of things that are hoped for and not yet seen. Faith is hard. It goes against the way our brain works. We like the tactile and concreteness of life.
It gives us comfort to know there are reasons for things. When we start to get into instances where things happen and don’t make sense to us, we naturally try to find evidence.
But Jesus said everything is possible for one who believes. How are you in your faith? You you have hope and believe God will work in your situation without being able to see the outcome yourself?
