There are some people are one way with some people and very different with everyone else. It’s like they have two faces and two personalities.
Very few are “what you see is what you get kind of people”—meaning all they know how to be is themselves. So how did the rest of us develop a double personality disorder?
The short answer is life. The way we are brought up and the experiences and encounters that shape our world also shape our personalities and perspectives.
If someone asked people who know you who you are, what would they say? Would they all relatively have the same answer or contrastingly different responses?
The answer to this question reveals who you truly are. Who you are impacts the lives of others positively and maybe sometimes negatively too.
Jesus asked His disciples at one point who they thought He was. Their immediate answer was to tell Him who others said He was, but Jesus wanted to know they said He was.
He walked very closely with these men and wanted to know the impact He had on their lives. Peter finally responded to him and told him he is the Messiah.
He is the Son of God, King of Kings, and Lord over all the earth. His coming had been foretold long before He walked this earth and His legacy will live on from now through all eternity.
Those who know you best know exactly who you are. Who you are includes Jesus’ influence in your life. So I ask, who do people say you are?
