There are times when you just crave certain foods. This happens to everyone from time to time—and to pregnant women for nine months.
Sometimes you crave or desire other things. The big problem comes when you crave something of this world more than you crave the God of this world.
To know God is to know His will. How do you actually know God and what His will is? You spend time with Him through prayer and reading His Word.
Going through this life being a good person isn’t good enough. Being good without God results in living a life that’s all about me.
As Christians we are to live focused on He. When you live for more than yourself, you honor God by loving others.
Being in community and fellowship with other Christ followers helps you to know Him too. We need each other.
We need to encourage one another with love and grace because in the end all that will really matter is truly knowing and following Jesus and telling everyone we know how awesome He is.
Do you crave the things of this world that will fade away or do you want more of the One who never will?
