Sometimes we go through life with blinders on that keep us from seeing things.
But just because you don’t see them doesn’t mean you don’t catch a glimpse of them as you go by or neglect to notice they are there at all.
With Saul, he was a powerful king who basically made it his life’s purpose to persecute Christians.
Then one day, his life changed. God met him on the road and asked him why he was persecuting Christians.
For a period of three days, he became blind. Can you imagine? When he was healed, the scales that had covered his eyes fell off—scales like what can form with some diseases of the skin.
So he had become diseased in a sense and when the disease was healed he could see again. Also, he not only stopped hurting and killing Christians, but he became a full-blown follower of God.
Sometimes we develop illnesses that keep us from seeing God all around us. You may fall into comparison, people pleasing, or even anxiety, worry, or depression.
I want to tell you today that God can heal you from these things and give you back your sight for what really matters.
What have you become blind to that you would so desperately like to see? Pray for God to give you His heart for people and to heal the blindness that’s been preventing you to see people and things His way.
