There are many events that take place and change the course of human events. However, there is only one that affects all of mankind in the past, present, and the future.
The birth of Christ was an epic event. God coming to earth in the form of a little baby was God’s way of communicating to you how much He cares about you.
You are loved. Sending His only Son to us, to be with us, among us, and go before us impacts our eternity in a way that nothing else could. The sin of Adam and Eve separated us all from God and our sin condemned us.
But God chose to send Jesus to reconcile our relationship with Him. His birth was to bring good news and great joy to all people. You aren’t to be afraid of this event and what it means for you.
God wants you to embrace it—even though it can be hard for our human minds to fathom God coming to earth. Nothing is impossible for God. There isn’t anything He wouldn’t do for you, including sending Jesus to earth to live with and die for you.
Many people come and go within your lifetime and some of them gain great influence over others. This allows them to teach and guide in such a way as to make an impact and gain a following.
Jesus did this too, but He wasn’t interested in gaining a following. He was more interested in establishing a relationship with you. Jesus wants to walk and talk with each of us and help us to live our best life.
Will you let Him? His communication is clear and His purpose as well as yours is real and based on God’s truth and will. What is God trying to communicate to you personally through His Son, Jesus?
