What makes someone great? When you think of greatness you probably think of people in the famous and infamous category of society whether they’re from the past or living in the present.
If you found yourself in close proximity to a person of this stature, your demeanor and behavior would probably change. You will be trying extra hard not to do something to embarrass yourself or diminish your worth.
While God has given each of us special and specific gifts and talents, when they’re not used to honor God they are just abilities we use expendably for our own benefit.
In the Bible it says in the beginning was God and His Spirit hovered over the waters because everything was void and not yet created. With mere words, His Spirit was released into the nothingness and everything obeyed His will and was formed as He planned it to be.
It was always God’s plan for His presence to be present on the earth so that you and I could experience the goodness He has for us. Apart from Him nothing will be as it should be.
When Christ was to be crucified, He told the disciples that He had to go, but He would be spending an Advocate to be with us always—His Spirit! God never wants us to be without Him.
He is an ever-present and all-knowing God and wants nothing more than for you to live in His presence through His Spirit living on the inside of you. He wants to be the reason for your hope, joy, peace, understanding, and love.
But you have to make to choice to accept what Christ did for you and by your confession and obedience His Spirit comes to be with you always. Knowing this, how does it make God more real to you?
