Success is a good thing to work toward, but is isn’t everything. It is a gift you are given when you achieve something.
You may think the things you do each day and the decisions you make are made entirely on your own. You may feel stressed, stretched, and strung out by the end of each day.
Stress can often make you want to throw your hands up and say, “That’s it. I’m done.” But God created the world in six days and on the seventh He rested.
Jesus did His Father’s work on earth, but took time to rest because resting is just as important as the work you do. Rest is a much needed break that’s brings refreshing.
Resting and being neglectful in your responsibilities are not the same though. Many people are feeling exhausted right now. If this is you, pray and ask God to give you His strength and to work towards the things He’s set before you.
I encourage those today who are lacking the courage and self-confidence to even be motivated. Change doesn’t happen if you stay in your comfort zone. I pray boldness over you today. Ask God to help you take the next step with confidence in your journey with Him.
Also in these crazy times we are living in, more people than normal are feeling week—physically, but also mentally. Remember to take care of those around you. Encourage and pray for them.
You never know when you will be the one who will need the prayers and encouragement. God wants us to love and take care of one another.
Above all else, except for loving one another as He loves us, He wants us to be patient with everyone. This is a tall order and some days may be easier and some people may be easier to do this with.
