We are so quick to compare ourselves to others including our abilities, our status, our financial stability, and our health.
Comparison is the thief of joy. If you always wonder why you can’t have or be all you wish you “should” be, you have fallen prey to the comparison trap.
You are who you are because that’s who God made you. With that being said, you should always strive to do things to the best of your abilities.
But sometimes we need to seek wisdom to do things with excellence. Learning how to sharpen your skills or learn something new can help us.
The best way to do things is God’s way. Seek His way first. Allow yourself to be teachable and dare to strive to always do better.
Pray for Him to help you walk in His truth and to hope in Jesus, not in things of this world that will eventually fall away and cease to exist.
Jesus will never fail or leave you. When has there been a time He alone has gotten you through?
