So many of us get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life. You get so busy with daily activities and keeping your schedule straight that you forget to take time to stop.
You may be questioning why stopping is a good thing? Routines are great and planning is essential at times, but you have to take time to stop and rest.
Even Jesus took the time to rest! If He did it, so must we.
You and I were made for community. We were never meant to live life alone. Now much of the world is living in quarantine.
You’re getting stir crazy after just a few days of working from home, your kids running around the house, and nowhere to go because everything you had planned is now closed.
I encourage you to get up and get out! Don’t misunderstand though. I’m not telling you to take the proper precautions to keep you healthy right now.
I am telling you it’s great to get out into the fresh air and take a walk with your family or significant other.
Take time to stop and consider all the wonders God has made all around you.
He alone taught the ocean to ebb and flow, the sun when to shine, and the moon when to show itself.
God created the beauty of the mountains, the vastness of the desert, and the most intricate of forests.
He took His time creating the beauty all around you. What is one way you can stop and take the time to enjoy right now?
