What dreams are in your heart? What if I told you that there is someone who wants to give you the desires of your heart?
Dreams can be deferred often because we don’t have the means or the confidence to turn them into a reality. There are events and situations in your life that bring you to a crossroad.
One choice can be the easier route, but will steer you away from your dreams. The other path is scary and requires you to do things that you don’t think you can do, but choosing to go this direction would keep you on the path to what’s in your heart.
God wants to make your dreams come true, but there is a catch. He wants you to use your gifts and skills for His glory and not your own.
Only He can make your dreams even better than you have imagined. Mary, the mother of Jesus, was set to be married to Joseph when the angel came to her and let her know that she would give birth to God’s Son.
She had a dream for her life. Mary could have viewed the angel’s news as an interruption to her dream, but instead she unquestioningly surrendered to God’s dream for her life.
Saying yes to God’s dream doesn’t mean an end to your own. It means that like Mary, you are willing to merge your dream with God’s. You are willing to make a difference in Jesus name in the lives of others.
Your obedience to God could change the world—all because you were willing to let Him use you. How have you allowed God to dream a better dream for you than you could have ever imagined?
