There are so many times when our schedule get the best of us and we need to be in two places at once. It is humanly impossible to achieve this—even though many movies will try to prove otherwise.
No matter how successful it appears to be at first in these movies, the flaws with doing it are quickly revealed and multiple problems ensue. In this life you will have trouble, but you have hope! Jesus overcoming the world gives you an opportunity to do the same when you operate through His power and love.
To be a Christ follower is to be a believer of who He is by living out His purpose for your life through impacting others with the Good News of Jesus. As believers we are walking around on the earth even though it is not truly are final destination.
You are to walk in this realm and operate in another. What I mean is just because you are on the earth doesn’t have to mean you have to operate as part of it. Be bold enough to live a countercultural life that goes against the grain of this world, which goes against God’s Word.
Everything you battle in the physical world is the result of a root that’s growing in the spiritual world. There is a constant battle for you in the heavenly places between God and Satan. They both want your allegiance, but there is a difference.
Satan wants your mind to be focused on things of this world and on how you can live to benefit yourself. God wants your heart and He wants you to willfully choose Him. There is no manipulation, just love.
So in order to get through what you’re facing, you must lean into Jesus. God already had a plan for you since day one. Jesus went before you to make a way. His Holy Spirit now lives in you (and in all believers) so that you can walk in His plan and be guided by Him as He is always with you.
