What is love? Is it a feeling someone shows through an action or does it go deeper than that? God is love. He can’t help to be anything but love to everyone because you cannot deny what you are.
Out of His love He chose to give everything in the sacrifice of His Son. Jesus dying on the cross is an iconic symbol that most have seen and know even if they haven’t accepted Christ.
We talk about it so much though we need to be careful it doesn’t become just an event to be thought of sometimes. Instead, it should be an act of love that defines your identity.
Because God is love, the only way to love is to know Him. You only truly know someone when you spend time with them—constantly deepening your relationship.
Just as waterfalls seem to flow endlessly so is His love for you—never ending. Love is more powerful than anything else in the universe. It has the ability to change lives and with it God can change hearts.
Without God’s love we will not be able to dispel fear, hate, evilness, pride, or any other form of warfare the enemy tries to use to thwart the unity of humanity.
When love exists, there is no room for such things. God is love. We’ve tried to cut Him out of everything and it’s only divided us more.
This should be the sign we need to turn back to Him. He is ready and willing to welcome you back with open arms and no condemnation.
Let Him be love in your life to the point of overflowing and then you can’t help but to spread that love to everyone else.
