Have you ever had something to do and someone or something was standing in your way? How about trying to get the kids out the door to go to school on time and none of them have a sense of urgency.
This is a humorous example, maybe not so much in the moment, but many things can stand in our way throughout the course of our lives. We often think that when things stand in our way they are barriers trying to keep us from where we are trying to go.
But how would it change your life if you viewed doors before you as opportunities instead of obstacles? Doors are not always meant to stop you. Sometimes they are meant to challenge you.
It can be easy to get stuck in your comfort zone. But no growth or progress happens there. The door before you may have been there for quite some time and you’ve stayed in front of it so long it’s grown so big and ominous.
Fear of staying where you are or fear of going through the door becomes overwhelming. Instead of doing anything, you decide it’s best to not decide right now. The key to going through the door lies in you. Instead of letting fear take hold, let faith drive you to freedom in Christ.
Jesus is the key who lives in you. Without Him, you may stand at the door of opportunity for a lifetime, wondering what if. Let Jesus give you the strength to step out of your comfort zone and into the life He has already planned for you.
As a Christian, you are in Christ. He inside of you waiting for you to take your next steps. What door are you facing today and how can you move forward in faith to walk through it?
