Have you ever been through a bad storm or even a hurricane? There are certain times of the year when these types of weather patterns are more prominent.
When the bad weather season approaches you start to hear about being prepared. Many media outlets encourage you to gather materials needed in case disaster hits.
So you prepare as best you can and hunker down through the storm until you come out the other side.
What about when disaster strikes in your life? You can never be fully prepared for some things, but there is only one way to get ready for what may come.
You don’t wait for a storm to get ready to face it. If you learn who God is by reading His Word, coming to Him in prayer, and living in close relationship with others who can encourage you on your journey with Jesus, you dig deep spiritual roots.
When hard times come, you’ll be firmly rooted in Him and who He says you are. You won’t be shaken.
