Have you ever trusted someone or something to give you happiness? How did it go?
As a result of the fallen world we live in, the people we spend our lives with and the things we experience always have the opportunity to let us down.
The best of intentions are always intended. Things happen and choices and mistakes are made. There is a difference though between man-made happiness and the joy that only Jesus can bring.
When you place your trust and faith in someone, Jesus, who never fails and never will, you’ll find fulfillment and joy in His promises. His love will flood your life and fill your soul.
Jesus gave us a great command to live out—or a commission really. Once you surrender to Jesus and allow Him to take control of your life, you’re agreeing to share the story of how He turned your life around.
This is what God wants us to do. We are to continue the work Jesus started while He walked the earth because we are His disciples and are learning from Him. This will always lead to an abundant life that includes blessings from God.
