There is much research and many doctors to uphold the fact that healthy eating is good for a healthy body. This isn’t hard to understand.
Some people eat strictly healthy and non-processed foods while others aren’t opposed to a sugary or unhealthy morsel now and then.
It’s important to keep your body in as good of shape as possible. This way you can be able to fulfill God’s plan for your life and live as long as God allows.
This isn’t all there is to life though. At one point, Jesus was confronted about what He was eating because it was unclean and that was unlawful.
He responded by saying it isn’t what someone puts into themselves that defiles them. It’s what comes out that defiles them.
You see, while God would like to see you remain physically fit, He is more concerned with your spiritual health and wellness. Whatever comes out of you reflects the condition of your heart.
If you are holding onto fear, bitterness, resentment, or even jealousy, these things can make deep roots in your heart. They are like weeds growing in a beautiful garden.
If they are left unattended to, these feelings and emotions can start to affect every aspect of your life. Take time today to do a little self-reflection.
How is the condition of your heart?
