Have you ever had to be part of a group project or presentation? Each person is supposed to work together as a team with everyone making a contribution to the final results.
This would be the ideal outcome, but you know this never happens. One person always has to take charge when one or more group members fail to participate.
In the beginning, God made man. After He breathed His breath into man, God gave him the responsibility of naming and watching over all the animals and birds.
Upon further thought though, God saw Adam needed a helper for his continuous daily deeds. None of the animals were a suitable assistant.
He needed someone to talk to who would talk back. He needed someone to be his partner. He needed someone to do life with that would encourage and be there for him as he would for them in return.
So God made Eve. It wasn’t good for man to be alone. All of this is still true today. Everyone has someone who is the perfect helper and assistant—a suitable or qualified helpmate.
If you are fortunate enough to find this perfect helpmate to keep you company, you are truly blessed. If you haven’t found them yet, don’t worry. They are still waiting and praying for you too.
