When you think of Jesus being the Son of God, you could assume because of God’s awesomeness that He would send Jesus to earth knowing fully what He knew. This isn’t the case though.
Jesus came to earth as a tiny baby and experienced a childhood like most other little boys at the time. He probably had some scraped knees and had accidents. He was God among us, but His wisdom grew as He aged.
He was taught how to be a carpenter to learn a valuable trade that would earn Him a living. As He grew into adulthood, His wisdom continued to increase. I wonder when He knew for sure He was the Son of God?
His childhood and upbringing didn’t look too much different than yours or mine. He came to earth to experience a human life. In this way He can relate to anything we also face and go through.
Sin was around Him. This isn’t different from our lives either. The difference lies in the fact it was against who He was, God incarnate, to sin. Temptation was there to go against what God wanted for Him, but He never gave in.
We, on the other hand, were born into sin because of the actions of Adam and Eve. Because of Christ’s life, death, and resurrection, we were given the ability to choose to have a personal relationship with the Father.
When you accept Him, His Spirit living in you will give you more and more wisdom over time. As you live like Christ and choose a life with Him, you will have favor with God and His favor will shine upon you and make a way for you to have favor with man.
