How do you decide if something is worth the risk? Maybe you make a list of pros and cons.
You might look at what has happened in the past. It is true that history can repeat itself, but it is equally true that things can be different moving forward if you make a change to how you did it before.
God changes things. Not believing in Him changes the course of what your life could have been and wholeheartedly believing in Him changes the abundance you see in your life.
Looking at the world through His eyes will give you a greater love for Him, His people, and for the purpose He’s given you to fulfill.
Don’t become more like the world you’re living in. Be transformed by Him to see it differently and make an impact in the eternal lives of others.
If you think following God is risky, you’re right. This may stop you from even believing in His existence.
But isn’t it worth the risk to believe in Him knowing you will live your life with a greater purpose and spend all eternity in the glorious heavenly realms with God Himself?
If you choose not to believe, you may live in regret for all eternity in a place you really wish you had never seen or experienced with no one to ever get out.
Everyone faces hard times and being a Christian does not exclude you from this. But trying to get by on your own and settle for a good life instead of a God life doesn’t allow you to live your best life.
How have you found that committing your life to Christ has honored God and been worth the risk?
