Mercy is a word used in the names of many churches, hospitals, and organizations all over the world. If it’s so widely used it must be important, right?
Some have even screamed for mercy, or “uncle,” as a bully pushed them around—at least that’s what older television shows and movies have portrayed.
In all seriousness though, maybe you’ve experienced this word on a more personal level. You’ve come to some valleys that seemed to go on forever.
These are the times you spent on your knees praying to God for mercy—for Him to end your suffering.
The truth is, your struggles and trials are all a part of your journey just like the great times and unforgettable experiences.
His mercy is a blessing. He shows you divine favor and compassion not because of anything you have done to deserve it. God extends this gift to you because of who He is.
He is a waymaker, and a mercy giver, and a lover of you. God is your biggest fan. He saved you because you’re worth it!
How are you living your life to the fullest because of His mercy and love?
