In this life there is a lot of give and take. To have a fulfilling relationship of any kind you must be willing to do both.
It is better to give than receive though and we are all to love one another as God loves people. God loves you so much He gave.
He didn’t feel obligated to give. God gave His only Son as a sacrifice out of His love for you and for me. He gave because of you! He knew it was the only way to reconcile His relationship with all of us.
Jesus willingly gave His life because He understood God had given Him a purpose and His obedience would change the lives of everyone for eternity.
The purpose God has for you will make a difference in the eternal lives of others. He has created you to do great things. When you willingly give yourself to be used by God, He will do it.
