Living in America, we have the ability to enjoy freedom in many ways—too numerous to count.
But even living in the land of the free doesn’t mean we are enjoying a life of freedom. You can become trapped by your thoughts, your fears, and even your past.
Choosing to do life with Jesus doesn’t mean all these thoughts will forever go away, but it does mean He will always help you to live in freedom and run from being a slave to anything that will hold you back from His will for your life.
When you make the decision to live for Him, He comes to be with you always. How can He do this? He sends His Spirit to live on the inside of you.
Making this change can be difficult for us because we want to be in control of what happens in our lives, but the reality is we are not in control.
Living by the Spirit means allowing His Spirit to internally guide your external actions and words. Where His Spirit is, there is freedom.
