Wouldn’t it be nice to have the answers to all the questions of this life and to be able to see the future? Some seek these things in all the wrong places.
We are told to seek wise counsel, but not everyone is as wise as they seem. The real truth isn’t found from the advice of those who aren’t letting Jesus lead their life.
Friends can be good friends, but not Godly friends. Many people mean well. God says to take what people say and test it against what He says to discern what is valid and what is not. What seems right may not be right in His eyes.
So where can we go for true answers to our questions and to seek what is right? The only answer is God. He made the whole world and He made you. He is the one who is omniscient and omnipotent. No one else in their own right has the understanding and power that God has over all creation.
When you accept Christ, His Holy Spirit comes to live in you. He changes you from the inside out. The Holy Spirit is there to be your friend, your teacher, and your advocate. He is the third part of the Godhead—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Spirit is with you as the result of Christ’s sacrifice for you. God’s Word has the ability to come alive and speak to you in incredible ways when you allow His Spirit to help you see what you’re reading in a new light—through the eyes of God.
Let His Word and the Holy Spirit be your guide through this life. They go hand and hand to enable you to lead the life God planned for you far before you were even born. God has big plans for you and it starts right where you are by being open to what God is trying to speak into your life.
