Even after Jesus rose again and then ascended into heaven to be with the Father, many were lost without Him being present with them.
His death and resurrection though was a present, a gift for us all. Jesus physically parted ways with mankind so His presence could be with everyone until the end of time.
He knew grief, but Jesus also knew what it meant to live on mission. He was a man on a mission from God to tell all about the love that is God. Jesus lived knowing He had a purpose and that God was always in control with a will that was greater than ours.
As Jesus left the disciples presently, He assured them an Advocate would now come in His place—the Holy Spirit. In return, we received the power of God’s Spirit and He would be around us, beside us, and in us.
When you accept Christ’s sacrifice and turn from a life of sin, you too are able to have the Holy Spirit be your guide. Since Jesus came, God didn’t want man to be alone to do this life without Him.
The Holy Spirit brings life and life abundant. His presence brings out our rejoicing—even when the circumstances of life try to hold you back. In His presence there is joy.
There is joy through the pain and suffering and joy in the laughter and love. There will always be joy because of Him. All you have to do is accept Christ’s gift of salvation for which He has already paid the price.
Are you living in His presence or living upset because He isn’t present?
