When you have a dream and are so passionate about seeing it come to pass, it can consume you. However, the tough truth is that a dream is not usually realized instantly. It can be a process that takes years and some dreams can even outlive the dreamer.
You will gain wisdom along the way and also meet others who can help fuel your dream. Your gifts and talents will help propel your dream in the right direction, too. There may be many things you can do though, but there are specific things that are God-given gifts meant to help you attain His dream for you.
How do you know if your dream is something you want for yourself or if it’s God’s dream for your life? The answer is simple—motivation. What motivates you to want to work toward your dream? Is it the thought of personal fame or fortune? Or do you desire to make God’s name known and for the glory of the dream to go back to Him?
God has hope for your future. It’s His desire to use everything you go through on life’s journey for good. Nothing you go through is meant to destroy you, but is just part of the process. As time goes on, the process helps you grow spiritually and that growth increases your faith.
When you get to the point where you are living God’s-dream for you, there are always others who will benefit from you obedience to follow God with all you are.
