Were you afraid of storms as a child? Whether it was the sound of the thunder, the flash of the lightning, or the howling wind, we were afraid of the conditions of the storm. This is the same as the storms we face in our daily lives as adults. When something bad happens to us or a series of unfortunate events, it can be easier to be afraid and fear what the future holds. Instead, we have to make a decision to have faith no matter how tossed about the wind throws us and how many times the rising waters try to overtake us. Jesus will always catch us as the waves continue to try and take us out. But we have no need to doubt Him. When we doubt Him, we make God as little as the faith we have at that moment.
