Learning takes time and many mistakes have to be made sometimes before we get things right. It’s a good thing God is patient! When we experience mistakes and failures, it’s important to go to God so He can pick us up, dust us off, and we can try again. It’s also a good thing that nothing we could ever do ourselves could save us. Christ had to come and give His life so we could experience God’s gift of grace. It’s not about anything that we finally get right, but it has everything to do with the sacrifice God made of His one and only Son so that our relationship was made right again with Him.
