We all want to live a blessed life. Who wants to live in turmoil, torment, and trouble? It doesn’t sound very pleasant.
What if I told you that God wants to bless you and your family? There is nothing that you can do to make God bless you more. All you have to do is be willing to let God use you. Surrender is key.
In the Bible, God blessed Abraham and his descendants. He didn’t do it so that they could all live more comfortably. He blessed them to be a blessing to others. He knew what He was going to do through Abraham and his descendants.
Jesus gave us the blessed gift of salvation through a new life of surrender with Him at the helm. He didn’t willingly do this so that we would be blessed—the end. Christ gave Himself as a blessing to all.
When you choose to live blessed no matter what your situation and what you are going through, you will be a blessing to others. God blesses you because He knows the plans He has for you. He knows what the future holds and blesses you because of what He has promised He will do through you.
For Abraham, God promised him He would never leave him, that He would protect him if he continued to follow through with God’s plan for his life, and land—as the father of many nations.
What has God promised you? If you don’t know God’s plan and will, read His Word and pray for Him to reveal it to you. He loves to see His children fulfill their purpose. What’s stopping you?
