If everyone chose to love their neighbor as themselves and treat everyone with dignity and respect, the world would be a more peaceful place.
You may be thinking love and respect everyone? Yes. Everyone has free will—God made us that way. As a result, we will all make poor choices sometimes. No one is excluded from this.
All you can do is choose to forgive. It isn’t about living a perfect life, but about knowing we are forgiven and are asked to extend forgiveness to others. God’s love is unconditional. Nothing you can ever do is so bad or hurtful that He will not love you.
A forgiving world that doesn't hold grudges or keep tally of wrongs is one that is working toward peace.
