How long is your list of things that MUST get done on any given day? What is on your list?
Is time with God on your list? If you call yourself a Christ follower, time reading His Word and in prayer should be something of highest priority. How can you know someone, your best friend, without spending time with them?
To know God is to know His will. When you know His will because you know Him, it’s important to put His will ahead of your own.
It can be hard to put others first, especially when you have a long list of things to get done, but it is necessary. God chose you! In return, He wants you to chose Him, too.
It’s your choice either way, but the life He has planned for you will be so much better than the one you could ever plan for yourself.
When you go and make a difference in the lives of others, you will have a lasting affect on them and in the lives of everyone they touch. The way to leave a legacy is to sow seeds in others by letting your testimony show the redeeming grace of God.
The seeds you sow into others then will produce lasting fruit. The message of Christ will live on because of your faith to help bring others to Christ.
If you choose to live out His will, whatever you ask for in His name will be given to you. What would it look life for you to put His will higher on your list of priorities?
