Anyone who has tried to grow a plant of any kind knows it needs water, good soil, and sunlight to grow. One detail though is often overlooked.
The seed actually starts its birth in the dark. In the beginning, the world was void and darkness covered everything. But it was in this darkness where God spoke everything into being—bringing light and love into the process.
You will go through dark times. It’s in these times you question where God is and why you’re having to endure all the pain and suffering that no one should ever have to bear.
But in these times, God is creating new beginnings in the darkness. Your faith is tested and your perseverance is pushed to its limits.
Worry consumes you, but I encourage you to keep your eyes on Him and He will firmly plant your roots down deep in the dark and help you push through to see the light.
The weak little seeds in your life often begin in the dark times and emerge with God’s light and love to guide you. Nothing is ever an accident.
Ever seed will sprout and push through the darkness. It will survive and so will you.
