Everyone has their people, their own friend or group of friends, that they are doing life with. We were made for community!
Life is tough. Without others around you to help lift you up when things are bad and to celebrate with you when things are good, it would be a rather boring and lonely place.
If you are living life alone, I encourage you to join a local group doing something you love whether it’s mountain biking, reading, or studying the Word of God. You need people.
If you are blessed beyond measure by those around you, try reaching out to those in the margins who need a hand to hold, a shoulder to cry on, or a strong back to help them up from the low place they have been.
This may sound like a pretty tall order to fulfill for someone and you’re right it is. No one person can be everything their fellow man needs.
But when you have God’s Spirit on the inside of you, He begins to work through you to make you more than you could ever be on your own.
Don’t be afraid to reach out and tell “your people” about what God has done in your life. He is too great of a blessing to keep to yourself. Spread His Word and His love for all to hear.
