There is much that happens on any given day from the moment the sun comes up to the time it sets. Is your hope to finish your to-do list or at the start of every day do you choose to give the day to God?
How you begin can dictate how you finish. The best way to finish well, no matter what all happens in-between, is to let God know from the start of your day that you are ready to listen to His leading and above all else help others to know Him—before your fit ever even hit the floor.
Reality is there will be moments, and let’s face it whole days sometimes, that are less than pleasant. In those times our instincts are to want to curl up in the sheets and wait for the sun to set so the next day will hopefully be better.
My friend God wants so much more for you than this! He knows life is tough. He never promised life would be easy, but He desires to be what keeps you going from day to day.
When you choose to continue to praise God and acknowledge His greatness, especially in troubled times, you are allowing Him to work everything for good, using your tests as a testimony. Praising Him isn’t an option. It is a privilege.
Something happens when your praise reaches to the heavens. His grace and love works in and through you in a powerful way. Praising Him isn’t just something you do when things go right. It’s what you do just because of who He is.
If you remember God is your provider, healer, protector, creator, Father, and so much more, it helps you to put your life in the hands of a God who is able to do things beyond what you could ever think possible.
How are you daily giving your day to God and allowing Him to guide your steps?
