Are you good at keeping secrets? I don’t know about you, but I have learned throughout life who it is safe to tell something to when you don’t want anyone else to know.
It’s all about trust. Many times in the Bible when Jesus would heal someone or perform another miracle, He would tell them not to tell anyone what had happened. But sometimes things are just so great that you can’t keep it to yourself.
When you accept Christ to be the Lord of your life, you are surrendering all that you are and all that you do to Him. This takes daily surrendering from then on after, but it will totally transform your life.
You won’t be able to keep all of His goodness to yourself. As Christ followers, it is part of our responsibility to tell others about Him and how He wants to be a part of their life too.
Some people have apprehension to talk to others about Jesus. However, it is easier than you think. Let your life speak for itself. Talking to others about Jesus happens when you share your story with them.
Start with the people who are the closest to you—family, friends, co-workers. There is something contagious about the light of Jesus inside of you that draws others in to want to know your secret. Tell everyone the reason why you have joy that radiates throughout everything you do.
