You’ve got to have goals. Without goals our daily schedules will get the best of us.
Whether short or long-term, goals keep us focused in a world full of distractions. The process and the journey are just as important as reaching the destination.
What makes a goal a goal? Maybe you make a short-term goal to make it through the day by thinking positively. Or long-term maybe you want to feel better about how you feel physically so you make a plan to exercise regularly and eat healthier.
Whatever you decide to set for yourself, it should be something that pushes you forward and also helps you grow.
If growth cannot happen from what you’re attempting to achieve, it may not be a goal you need to set. If putting it in place doesn’t help you move forward in life, and maybe it even moves you backward, it probably isn’t the right goal for you.
You only get one chance at each day you’re given. Whether you like it or not, the reality is your days are numbered.
Life isn’t meant to be endured. It is meant to be enjoyed and enjoyment comes when you work toward things that bring fulfillment to your life.
God can help you to take the right steps and reveal to you where He wants you to go. Pray and ask Him what He wants you to do that He can work for good in your life and point others back to Him?
How is His guidance helping you to gain a heart of wisdom and achieve great things?
