There are many injuries, ailments, diseases, and abnormalities that people are born with and live with everyday. It is near impossible to live through any of it without outside help.
God tells us He is the Lord who heals. He sent Jesus to earth and He healed many during His life’s ministry.
When you have Christ guiding your life and His power is working in and through you, you have the ability to pray and ask God for someone to be healed and it will be so.
Something hard to understand though is that sometimes healing doesn’t happen on this side of heaven. You and I wish those we live could stay with us forever here on earth.
It can be easy with our own understanding to think someone wasn’t healed like we asked for because they passed on from this life.
Asking Him to help us understand through His eyes will help you to see that there is no pain or sickness in heaven.
When someone passes on from an illness they don’t just lose their battle. They have really won.
They were provided the healing you so desperately prayed for. It wasn’t how you would have wanted the prayer to be answered, but your loved one was healed and is no longer hurting.
Choosing to accept Christ, His sacrifice for you, and His power within you means that you have been given the blessing of eternity in heaven.
