If you have ever had to be a part of a group project or presentation, more than likely you wish you could have worked alone. Teamwork can make the dream work, but sometimes it’s hard to work as a team.
At times we tend to focus more on our own abilities than on who gives us our abilities. As a team, you and those beside you have all been given specific gifts and strengths. No two people were created the same.
You bring out the best qualities in others just as they can do the same for you. It can also work aversely with bringing out the bad characteristics of people.
It’s seems easier to volunteer to take the lead in a group because of our need to want to control things. If you aren’t in control you can’t determine the outcome.
What if I told you that you have little control over the outcome of a situation? With God in your life, it’s important to pray for Him to help you and for Him to take the lead.
Let your heart’s prayer be for God to become greater than yourself in your life. In other words, for Him to become the most important you must put all your fears and dreams in His hands, knowing what He has planned may not be what you would have wanted.
But His desires and dreams are always better and bigger than your own. He has a bright future in store for you, but the one condition is that you allow Him to be the greatest thing in your life.
