It’s the day after Easter and Christ has risen! So now what does this mean for Monday?
There is no way life for you and for me can go on like normal. Jesus changed everything!
On the Monday after Jesus’ resurrection, the disciples all hid together with the doors locked because they were fearful. They feared the Jewish leaders of the day coming to get them next.
While they were locked in hiding in the room, something happened that radically changed them. Jesus appeared to them and told them something that completely changed their future forever.
He told them to have peace and not fear. The result of the peace they found in Him would be joy. He wants you to have the same things in your life—not for you to live locked away in fear.
Just like the disciples then, He commissions us now as His disciples. Pray that He gives you the faith in Him and the boldness you need to tell everyone about Him.
The resurrection marks the end of a life lived for you and the beginning of a life lived to honor Him.
Will you make the change in your life to focus on Him in all situations and decisions—going into the earth with His Spirit to guide you?
