Have you ever wondered at some point in your life, “Is this all there is?” No matter how good or not so good your life has been, it is not uncommon for you to want more.
We live in a society that is constantly unsatisfied. The latest and greatest is not only wanted it is strongly desired. Consumer debt is at an all-time high.
What is it going to take for us to be grateful and thankful again for what we have been given? Jesus. He is the key to fulfillment. Jesus never once asked, “Is this all there is?”
He chose to live a life worthy of the calling He received from God. You aren't living here and now to compete with others over who can have the most and best things.
Things are just things. Just like you cannot base your happiness on one person or another, you surely cannot base your contentment on the things you own or wish you had.
You must choose to trust God and the life He has given to you. No two people are the same and no two life paths will be exactly the same. His call for your life will not be the same as the person next to you.
Following His path for you here paves the way for not only your eternity, but the eternal lives of everyone you meet. Everyone you come in contact with is an opportunity to share Jesus.
Always look up and keep moving forward in faith. Practice what you preach and let your life be the testimony for how great our God is.
Are you running the race of this life for what you can get out of it or for what God can do through you?
