Remember when you were little and someone told you for the first time that you were too young to do something? Have you gone to the other extreme and ever discounted the contribution someone could make based on their “well-experienced” age?
1 Timothy 4:12 tells us, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
Little children can do big things too! It’s my belief that they are the ones who are truly changing our world.
In the same way, God wants us to hold the older in age of high value. Whether you’re young, in your golden years, or somewhere in between, He will continue to help you through and sustain you.
How have you felt God sustaining you recently?
