Who is your role model? Everyone has someone they look up to. Children do as well. There is so much talk about positive role models for children and teens.
Not very many people talk about who we choose to look up to as adults. Who you elevate in your life will become who you imitate.
When you decide to make Christ the person you look up to and imitate, you reveal His character to others. How can you discover the character of God?
We see His character all around us. He created the world to reflect His goodness from the evening sunset to the morning sunrise, from the ocean to the mountains to the desert. Even snowflakes with their uniqueness and each tiny grain of sand and drop in the ocean show us how He is in the details.
God creates with excellence and as a Christ follower, you are to do the same. Love others with compassion not through the eyes of comparison.
Everything you do, let it be done to show the goodness of His excellence. How does your life imitate the One who made you?
